Car Door Lock Repair at Your Car
Key won't turn in the door? Lock cylinder spinning, jammed or damaged after a break-in attempt? Our car door lock repair comes to the car anywhere in Miami-Dade and Broward. We repair or replace door and trunk lock cylinders, and we can rekey car locks to match a new key, so one key works the doors, the trunk and the ignition again. It is car lock and key repair done on site, often with no tow and no dealer appointment. If the problem turns out to be the power-lock actuator or wiring, we tell you what we found.
How the job goes
- 01
Text us the car and what the lock does: won't turn, spins freely, sticks or was forced.
- 02
We confirm the price by text, then come to the car and check the lock, the key and the linkage.
- 03
We repair or replace the lock cylinder and rekey it so it matches the key you already use.
- 04
We test the lock with the key and the remote, from outside and inside, before we leave.

Questions
Can a car door lock be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. A worn, dirty or dry cylinder can often be repaired and rekeyed to your key. If the cylinder was forced or is badly worn, we replace it and match it to your key. We tell you which one it is before we start.
Can you rekey my car locks to match a new key?
Yes. If you have a new ignition key or bought a car with keys that don't match, we can rekey the door and trunk locks so a single key works all of them. We check ID and title or registration first.
Why does my car key turn in the ignition but not in the door?
The driver door lock gets used less and takes the humidity and salt air, so its parts wear, stick or rust while the ignition keeps working. The cylinder often needs cleaning, repair or rekeying, and we can do that at your car.
What if the problem is the power lock, not the key?
If the key turns but the door won't lock or unlock with the remote, the fault may be the door lock actuator or its wiring. We check it and tell you honestly what we found and who is the right one to fix it.
